enough is enough…. for weeks, I have been discussing in my head the fact that I put on some weight… Not crazy. But too much for me. I found a million reasons as to why this happened and how it makes sense and how that is totally okay: the stress of my past 6 months or so, the resulting cortisol levels that hold on to fat, the lack of proper sleep that results in hormonal issues and carb cravings, the simple emotional eating factor – that made me eat way more chocolate and wine than normal… and the lack of time for moving my body (which makes me crazy anyway). And: age.

I have been working my way up to the point of saying “enough is enough, I seriously need to work against this”. And just to push me over the edge – my 7year old son stood next to me this morning – and he – SERIOUSLY – wobbled my belly, then the back of my arms… and then he tried wobbling his (and it of course didn’t work!) – and then he said: Mama, why are you wobbly and I am not?????
Eeeekkkkkk. Thanks. Good question. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Okay, I admit, this is a very superficial topic and I don’t really like making this the main point. But sometimes this is where we start. And we will work so many deeper topics on the way!

Study over study confirms that next to a few simple things that I know how to do – ACCOUNTABILITY is the biggest thing in making this happen. Let’s go on this journey together and drop a few pounds.
